The Clippers can't stop Clippering
To distract from the ongoing garbage fire that is their roster, the Clippers send Chris Paul home during a road trip for unknown reasons.

Good morning. Let's basketball.
In a truly shocking move, the Los Angeles Clippers told Chris Paul he would no longer be with the team and sent him home from Atlanta, where's the team is continuing a disaster road trip amid a disaster season. After Chris Haynes reported the news on Threads (!!) and CP3 posted a terribly non-cryptic Instagram story about it, Clippers president of basketball operations Lawrence Frank confirmed it.
"We are parting ways with Chris and he will no longer be with the team. We will work with him on the next step of his career. Chris is a legendary Clipper who has had a historic career. I want to make one thing very clear. No one is blaming Chris for our underperformance. I accept responsibility for the record we have right now. There are a lot of reasons why we've struggled. We're grateful for the impact Chris has made on the franchise."
The mode in which this was done would suggest some sort of behind-the-scenes rift or palace intrigue ... except for the fact that this is the Clippers. This could just be idiocy. And why is it idiocy?
