Good morning. We are 2.5% the way through the season. Let's basketball.

After the first weekend of the regular season, most teams have played three games. Seven teams are still looking for their first wins. How worried should these teams be? Or are they right on track?

DISTURBED AND PERTURBED
New York Knicks (0-3)
Miami Heat (0-3)

Yes, the defending champs are watching their afterglow get dulled by brick after brick. Losing on an emotional banner night in the opener? Sure, we'll give you that. Suffering a retribution loss to Jayson Tatum and the Celtics on the road a couple nights later? Sure, we'll give you that. Falling apart in the fourth quarter to a Magic team without Paolo Banchero?! We're drawing the line there. Mikal Bridges has to provide a little offense, and the Knicks need to get it together on that side of the ball. What happened to the juggernaut of last spring?!

Miami, meanwhile, has no proof of concept for this collection working beautifully together, unlike the Knicks. The Heat just have to hope this is some bad luck and tough adjustments to start the new era. As with the Knicks, you can excuse two of these losses, as both the Wolves and Pistons look excellent. Feeling the pressure of a slow start and losing to the shorthanded Hornets? Yikes! Defense was supposed to be this team's calling card, and it's been atrocious so far. Lots of figure out.

The Knicks face the Pistons Tuesday, then the schedule eases up. The Heat have a pretty tough couple of weeks ahead. We are monitoring the situation.

NO ONE SHOULD BE THAT DISTURBED AND PERTURBED
Golden State Warriors (0-3)

The writing was on the wall: this team did not have a winning roster coming into the season. Kristaps Porzingis falling ill again has only exacerbated the situation. It seems obvious that at some point the Warriors would decide to shut down Stephen Curry and collect a good chance at a high pick in the draft. But Curry may need to play 60 games to help the Warriors avoid the Zone of Shame!

SURPRISINGLY FRISKY
New Orleans Pelicans (0-3)
