Amid the rumors that the Washington Wizards are in talks on a potential Trae Young deal that wouldn't send any major assets back to the Atlanta Hawks, and in fact might net the Wizards an additional sweetener as the Hawks seek cap flexibility in lieu of pure on-court value, there's a question as to whether such a move would short-circuit what the Wizards are building.
My response to that question is to ask what exactly the Wizards have built?
