Tuesday scores & links, where Donovan Mitchell feels bad
... and the Timberwolves are starting to feel good.

Good morning. Let’s basketball.
Quick programming note: no newsletter on Friday. We will have one early Thursday, though.
Scores
Hawks 102, Cavaliers 114 — I retract my previous kind words about the Hawks. The win-loss record is better than the performance. They need a clarifying move here, and fans aren’t happy about the money-saving Kevin Huerter trade.
This is really funny to me: Donovan Mitchell snatched a rebound that would have given Evan Mobley a double-double, and then Mitchell acts like he accidentally made Mobley’s cake collapse or something.
Mitchell didn't know Mobley was one rebound away from a double-double 😆

It’s fine! It’s just a counting stat! Mobley’s on-court team rebound rate and plus-minus are unaffected!
Magic 102, Pacers 123 — Alright, Indiana has now won five straight and sits at No. 4 in the East. Tyrese Haliburton is the Eastern Conference Player of the Week and he’s averaging 20 points on 50/40/86 shooting AND leading the league in assists per game (10.7). Unreal stuff. Also:
