Good morning. Let's basketball.
Scores
Thunder 117, Cavaliers 112 – Season from hell ... but not for me.
This could be Shai Gilgeous-Alexander's greatest achievement, to carry a team of second-tier co-stars to a 60-win season. The talent, focus, ability and confidence is all there. The motivation is there. He's scary.
Bulls 107, Sixers 126 – All five Philadelphia starters scored 15+ points. The three not named LeBron or Joel scored 20+ apiece. King James also recorded one mid-game refreshment.
As of Tuesday morning, the Sixers are tied for the best record in the NBA.
Hawks 108, Pacers 104 – Indiana had six healthy, available players. Three of them are on two-way contracts. And yet, the Pacers got within two points in the final 90 seconds. Incredible and inspiring performance that I feel no need to include highlights of, given that this is not a G League newsletter. Atlanta avoids a near-disaster.
